I grew up with a passion for fragrance. I had a signature scent that I carried with me from younger years, through college. Unfurtunately that fragrance was discontinued, fortunetaly I was living in Paris, France at the time and had abundant opportunity of places to search for my new scent. The task proved more difficult than I anticipated. Quickly I realized that no perfumes hit all my marks. In fact, none did. The more fragrances I tried the more I started to also realize a pattern in side effects. From headaches, to nausea, and even rashes. Yes, this thing I found indulging and sacred was betraying me at every corner. I then decided to learn about the ingredients that go into these perfumes. Sure enough, these fragrances were composed of chemicals including synthetics, phthalates, parabens and artificial preservatives. This mortified me. I wear perfume every day, I intend to wear perfume every day for the rest of my life. And I in no way was willing to sacrifice the health of my skin or wellbeing to do so. I began to search for organic perfumes. My luck did not draw there either. Organic perfumes consisted of bottled oils with a cinnamin stick, or another form of dried fruit. Sure, they solved one problem for me, but I was not satisfied. I wanted to feel what I felt when I sprayed that luxurious bottle on my neck and skin before a night out. This was just not doing it for me. After further investigation I realized I was looking for something that did not yet exist. A clean, luxurious fragrance. This was the begining of Kí Perfumery. 

After diving into creating the very thing I searched for I found a world of possabilities. Not only could I substitiute most of the ingredients (especially the harmful ones), but also realized that the ingredients I was being drawn to instead also carried benefits! What a turn of events. Not only was I now avoiding side effects, but actively formulating functional fragrances. After much care, love and attention I finally bring this product to you. A fragrance that makes you feel opulent, clean, energized, and empowered. I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as we love making them!
